Growing Struggle To Fill NHS Vacancies

Tuesday, February 27th 2018 | by 41 Southbar | Industry News

It has been reported that there is a growing struggle to fill NHS dentistry vacancies. Whilst this sounds like a somewhat monotonous admin problem, it isn’t. At all. These unfilled vacancies aren’t a matter of want, they’re a matter of need; they’re dentist and nurse positions.

As there’s a decreasing amount of NHS dentists, there is a growing shortage within NHS dentist practices, which has led some people needing to travel up to 75 miles just to get a check-up. Why is this happening? It has been said that NHS Dentists are overworked and underpaid, so graduates are more so looking to pursue the private route.

We don’t intend to besmirch the NHS whatsoever. They do a fine job and obviously this slight crisis it down to austerity, not bad management. We don’t want to get political, however, we simply want to help you and your teeth. So let’s get to it and offer solutions.

There are obviously many benefits to going private. For one, you get to come and see us; we have the award-winning and beloved Dr. Tom as your in-house dentist. Here are some more

Going private, you’ll get an appointment with ease

From the first visit I had my options explained to me and I was able to have all my questions answered without any fuss. It was a very calming experience.

My implants have now been fitted and I have completed my treatment and I would highly recommend this practice to anyone.”
