Fillings are a common dental procedure, and at 41 South Bar in Banbury, we only use composite (white) fillings as an alternative to amalgam (silver) fillings that are not so pleasing to the eye.
White fillings are strong, durable and look much more pleasing to the eye will last a long time if they are looked after.
If the filling is large Dr. Tom Donnelly may recommend that you have a porcelain inlay or onlay constructed. This is a fantastic way to help preserve as much of the tooth as possible.
Fillings are used to solve a range of dental issues. If you have a problem with the appearance of your teeth, a less costly way of correcting the situation may be to bond the teeth with white filling. This may take away the need for porcelain or crowns or it can be used as a (short or long term) ‘test drive’ of a new look. Many of our clients have used this technique and are extremely happy with the results.
