Forehead, Glabellas & Crow’s Feet Treatment

As we age, our skin loses its ability to bounce back and movements which are constantly on repeat, such as: Frowning, laughing and smiling which can leave a series of lines or wrinkles across the face. The reduced elasticity of our skin over time can cause these wrinkles or ageing scars to deepen and can impact how we may view ourselves.

Some parts of your face are more susceptible to signs of ageing than others, including the areas which are constantly moving due to facial expressions. There are two types of wrinkles known as dynamic and static. Both wrinkle types can be treated with our range of facial aesthetic treatments, Banbury.

Dynamic wrinkles – appear during a muscle contraction, they are only visible whilst you are frowning or smiling.
Static wrinkles – static wrinkles are visible all the time, even when the face is at rest in a neutral expression. Static wrinkles can worsen with muscle movements and contractions.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Are Glabella Lines?

Glabellar or glabella lines are horizontal indentations which stretch across your forehead, between and above your eyebrows and directly over your nose. Glabella lines always appear as horizontal lines, running from one eyebrow to the other, which, over time, can deepen. Glabellar lines can vary depending on a person’s facial structure.

Glabella lines are often the first wrinkles to appear and can start making an appearance from a person’s mid 20’s. While initially, the lines can be visible only when a person frowns (dynamic wrinkles) over time the lines can deepen and become visible permanently (static wrinkles). Glabella lines should not be confused with frown lines, which are the vertical lines between your eyebrows, as a result of your forehead burrowing together when you furrow your brows.

What Are Crow’s Feet?

Crow’s feet is the term given to the fine lines which are found around a person’s eyes. Crow’s feet can also be known as smile lines since they are formed mostly from the muscles used to smile. The skin found around your eye is incredibly thin and is, therefore, more susceptible to forming both dynamic and static wrinkles over time.

How To Get Rid Of Forehead Lines, Glabellas & Crow’s Feet?

At 41 South Bar, we offer a professional and proven treatment to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Opposed to the un-proven, at-home remedies of creams and moisturisers which can be purchased over the counter to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and rejuvenate the skin.

At 41 South Bar, a series of small injections are inserted into your skin, either on your forehead, between your eyebrows or within your crow’s feet lines. The non-invasive injections are designed to smooth away the appearance of the wrinkles by helping to reintroduce elasticity and firmness into your face. The process can take as little as 15 minutes to complete and will not leave you with a ‘frozen face’.

The anti-wrinkle injections accurately pinpoint and relax the muscles which are creating the lines on your face, helping to reduce the overall appearance of your wrinkles while also helping to prevent the wrinkles from becoming worse over time.

Went to 41 South Bar today on an emergency appointment with chronic toothache. Fully expected to have a tooth out and a hefty bill. But no, my tooth was saved and my pension was saved. I’ll be back.

The treatment and care I received from every professional that I came into contact with at 41 South Bar was exceptional. Everyone was polite, friendly ad an excellent practitioner. Tom is an absolutely first class dentist with a pleasant “bed-side” manner. I am delighted with my implants. They couldn’t be better. Many thanks to all at 41 South Bar

My close family now all go to South Bar. I have been coming for years and the treatment has been excellent. My mum changed to Tom earlier this year and has been so delighted. She said she wished she had changed years ago. Even my dental phonic daughter in law travels from Reading to the practice.

Helen Hutchings

Tom was knowledgeable and helpful and friendly throughout. I have been suffering with pain in my teeth and Tom was able to provide a possible diagnosis and reassure me on many concerns that I have been having. The receptionists created a friendly atmosphere in the practice and they were helpful during phone calls.
